Class Registration

How do I register for classes?

You will have the opportunity to register, and/or change your classes at the Summer School after placement tests, course introductions, and advisement on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 (June 27, 2027 for second half students). This will ensure that you are placed in the proper courses.

All regular UNM students, including graduate students officially enrolled in UNM’s M.A. program, will register for classes using their UNM NetID.

All other applicants must first fill out and submit an online Non-Degree Application, which is necessary to create an account for you in the UNM computer system so you can register for classes and pay for tuition, fees and room and board. More information about this procedure will be sent to you after acceptance into the program.

Once your non-degree application has been processed by the UNM Admissions Office, your next step is to create a UNM NetID and password. Your NetID is the user name you will use to access various systems at UNM. To create it go to https://netid.unm.edu and follow the instructions there. You will not be able to create your NetID until Admissions has set you up in the database.
